Purposes and legal bases for processing personal data

At CLINICA VETERINARIA SOMO S.L.U we collect and process your personal information, generally, in order to manage the relationship we have with you, the main purposes being the following:

To respond to queries, requests for information, suggestions, professional contact, to process orders, appointments, bookings, demonstrations, requests or any kind of petition made by the data subject through any of the means of contact that the Controller makes available on this website or by other means. To send you communications relating to products similar to those you previously purchased, as well as news about our products or services that may be of interest to you. Data retention period

Personal data processed for purposes (A), (B), (C) and (D) will be kept for no longer than necessary to maintain the purpose of the processing, or as long as there are legal provisions requiring their custody; once no longer necessary, they will be deleted with appropriate security measures to guarantee the anonymisation of the data or their total destruction.

Personal data obtained for purpose (E) will be kept for the time necessary for the purpose of the processing or for a maximum of 12 months; once this period has elapsed, they will be blocked or destroyed.

In any case, and as a general rule, we will keep your personal information for as long as there is a commercial, pre-contractual or contractual relationship binding us with you, to comply with legal obligations, or as long as you do not exercise your right to erasure and/or restriction of processing. Obligation to provide the data

The USER guarantees that the personal data provided to the CONTROLLER are truthful and is responsible for communicating any modification of the same. The CONTROLLER informs that all the data requested through the website are mandatory, since they are necessary to provide an optimal service to the USER. Should all the data not be provided, it cannot be guaranteed that the information and services provided are completely tailored to your needs.

Disclosure of data

As a general rule, no disclosures or international transfers of your data are foreseen. However, those authorised by tax, commercial or telecommunications legislation may be carried out, as well as those required by judicial authorities, the State security forces and bodies, or by public administrations in the exercise of their competences. Identification and financial data may be communicated to banking entities or payment platform managers, as well as to insurance entities, transport companies or intermediaries, if necessary to achieve the purposes of the processing.

User rights

Any person whose personal data are processed has the following rights:

How do we protect your information?

At CLINICA VETERINARIA SOMO S.L.U we are committed to protecting your personal information. To this end, the user confirms that they are responsible for the truthfulness of the data communicated and that they will keep such information suitably updated so that it reflects their real situation, being responsible for any false or inaccurate data they may provide, as well as for any direct or indirect damages that may arise.
